Job Summary:
The Directional Bore Operator is responsible for operating a Horizontal Directional Drill in accordance with OSHA guidelines. This position is responsible for safety and may direct workflow of a crew over drilling operations. The Directional Bore operator is responsible for the safety and quality of the crew.
Minimum Required Qualifications

Major Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate heavy equipment including the directional drill.
Read specifications such as blueprints, to determine construction requirements or to plan procedures.
Inspect work progress, equipment, or construction sites to verify safety or to ensure that specifications are met.
Locate, measure, and mark site locations or placement of structures or equipment, using measuring and marking equipment.
Confer with Project Manager, other departments, or contractors to resolve problems or to coordinate activities.
Arrange for repairs of equipment or machinery.
Review and process damage claims.
Follow the Company’s policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as requested by the manager.
Additional Qualifications:
1+ years of construction work experience
Understanding of all safety requirements per OSHA specifications.
Valid Driver’s License required.
CDL-A preferred.
Experience with operation of Drill and/ or other Heavy equipment.
Working Conditions- Field environment, flexibility of schedule.
